Shanghai Nights

Shanghai - the capital of the people's republic of China. This city rocks! Albeit the temperature for Fi and mines visit was well below zero. Here are pictures from the Bund of the Oriental Pearl Tower.
Shanghai at night has an amazing energy. Check out M on the Bund, Rouge and Phillipe Starcks new and exclusive (except for Cat, Fi and Tobias) bar Volar! Sister bar in Hong Kong. Try Karaoke- for now I can't remember the name of the 300 + room Karaoke Palace.

Get Spritual....

Just under ten percent of Macau's population considers itself Christian in some form, and the city's history and heritage is firmly rooted in the mix of Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism that is typical of Chinese society. You see in the temples offerings that are made to the Triple Gem. The incense is pretty intense.

For example the lighting of a candle or an oil lamp represents the light of wisdom illuminating the darkness of ignorance.
The burning of incense represents the fragrant scent of morality.
Flowers represents the aspiration to achieve the body of the Buddha.
Food, fruit, water, drinks represents the nectar of Dharma and the wish to achieve it.
